About

Miranda is part of the litter named after country music legends or superstars. This litter of five, came to our shelter with three adults as well, including their Mama (Reba). The family that was renting the property was leaving and didn't know what would happen to them once they left. They were all outside cats (apparently were allowed inside or in some sort of porch/patio) during the VERY cold weather as some of the kittens had a little frost bite so it was essential to make room for the entire group in our shelter for everyone before the family left the property. We are happy we did, as both the kittens and the adult cats are amazing. All loving, very social (including with kids), and appreciative to have a warm and cozy place to be. These cats are a good reminder the importance of spay/neuter programs. *Miranda looks the most like her Mama (Reba) right down to the white tip on her tail. She is a beautiful brown tabby girl with a soft round face. This kitten is adorable and equally as sweet. She is always snuggling with one of her brothers (normally Kenny but sometimes Garth) but will happily come out to enjoy some attention from our volunteers as well. Just like her other siblings, she will roll to show you her cute little belly and offer it to you for pets or kisses. This little sweetheart is affectionate and kind to everyone. She always seemed so quiet and almost a bit "shy" at the shelter but since moving to The Cat's Brew Miranda has really come out of her shell. She has gained so much confidence. She is brave, curious, and friendly both to visitors and to all the other cats there. We are so proud of her progress and so happy more people get to see just how special this beautiful girl is! ***UPDATE: Miranda has now (almost) grown up in the shelter (and now at The Cat's Brew) as she nears the one year mark we have lifted the "two kitten requirement" that our rescue uses for all young kitten adoptions. Although we do feel strongly that Miranda would need to be in a home that included another young and playful cat. If you are short one of those in your home her sister Dixie would be happy to tag along as she is still looking as well. They really do compliment each other so well and both would benefit from a life that included each other as well as a happy human family. Cats are social beings and young cats need stimulation not only from us (owners) but also from each other. They learn from each other, they comfort each other, and they keep each other company when life gets busy for their people. Complete our online adoption application a www.littleorphans.org to start the process of adding this or any of our kitties to your home. The more complete your application is, determines how quickly we are able to process your application. Please try to give your vets office (give prior authorization to release information to us), landlord, and references a heads up to expect our call. Adoption fees include spay/neuter, up-to-date age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, flea preventative, and a microchip.
