Breed and size details are foster-estimated and may change. Rita is an 8–9 month old Mastiff/Lab mix (breed mix guessed) with a calm, gentle personality that feels far beyond her age. She settled into foster care effortlessly, quickly becoming part of the family and getting along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, cats, and older children. This sweet girl loves food, toys, chewies, and being part of the daily routine. While she is incredibly laid-back, she also takes her role as a little guardian seriously and will bark to alert her family when someone approaches the home. Rita would do best in a quieter home with a confident canine companion who can help her continue to build confidence. She would also benefit from a secure fenced yard where she can safely play and explore. With her beautiful black brindle coat, soft teddy bear fur, and soulful eyes, Rita is a special young dog who is gentle, loyal, and wise beyond her years.
