Looking for a calm companion? Meet Bruno Bruno is a sweet 5-year-old chocolate Lab mix. After spending the last few months in foster care, Bruno has slowly started coming out of his shell and learning that the world can be a safe place. With the help of his foster dog siblings, he's gained confidence and started enjoying the simple things in life. Bruno is a quiet observer who prefers a peaceful home. He enjoys lounging in the sun, rolling in the grass, napping on a cozy chair, and eagerly waiting for mealtime. He is gentle, low-key, dog-friendly, and incredibly sweet. While he enjoys being near his people, he's not demanding and is perfectly content doing his own thing. Bruno prefers the comfort of his home and yard over adventures. He is leash shy and still building confidence outside of his safe spaces. Because Bruno has demonstrated a strong interest in chasing cats, he must go to a cat-free home. He would do best in a calm, patient home and would especially love a confident canine companion to help him continue building confidence. The world wasn't always kind to Bruno, but every day he shows us how much he wants to trust. He just needs someone willing to give him a chance. Bruno is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and ready for his next chapter. Transport can be arranged for the right home.
