Meet Reggy, a 20-pound professional overthinker. a 1 year and 6 month old male Chihuahua/Dachshund mix with short legs, big feelings, and at least 47 opinions per day. he’s mastered the art of acting suspicious of strangers while secretly hoping they might have snacks. When meeting new people, he can be a little nervous at first. Think “tiny undercover security guard” energy. But if another dog is around, suddenly he’s way braver — like having an emotional support coworker on his shift. “Oh, we like this human? Okay cool, I like them too.” Once he settles in, he’s a sweet, goofy little companion who loves hanging out with his people and participating in important daily activities like following you to the bathroom and supervising snack preparation. He’s looking for a patient home that understands trust takes time… and possibly treats. Lots of treats. Bonus points if you already have another friendly dog who can help show him the ropes and reassure him that the vacuum cleaner is, in fact, not plotting against him. The good news? He’s already house trained and doing great with his potty manners. He’s also working on crate training and making steady progress, although he would still prefer if you simply canceled all plans and stayed home with him forever.
