Hello, I’m Miss Tilly, an 11-year-old lady with a shy side and just a touch of sass, looking for my forever home! I spend my days enjoying the finer things in life, like napping in my cozy bed, stretching out on yours, or curling up in a lap once I feel comfortable. In between naps, I like to explore my surroundings and have a bit of playtime. I will admit, I take my time getting to know new people, and quick movements can still startle me, so I appreciate a calm and gentle approach. Once I trust you, I really enjoy affection. Ear scratches, chin rubs, and soft head pets are some of my favorite things, and I will happily sleep on the bed with you for most of the night. I’m very soft and quite fond of being admired while I soak up attention. I may be a mature lady, but I still have a playful streak. I love batting around my springs, catnip balls, and toy mice, and I can often be found chasing them across the house. I also make great use of my scratching posts every single day. Right now, I live with two adults in a condo, and I’ve settled into a peaceful routine. My ideal home would be quiet and low key, with adults who understand that I need a little time and space to feel safe. I would especially love a home where my humans are around often, and I do have a soft spot for women, since I spent much of my life with one special person. I feel most comfortable on carpeted surfaces, as slippery floors can make me a bit unsure. Rugs work just fine too, even if I occasionally rearrange them during my play sessions. I may take a little time to open up, but once I do, I have so much love to give. If you are patient and kind, I will reward you with companionship, warmth, and my own special brand of sweetness. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped.
