Meet Oatie. A bright‑eyed, sunshine‑soaked, three‑year‑old speed racer with a heart that just refuses to dim. He got his name the day he was found curled up in a pile of hay in the middle of a field — abandoned, alone, and yet somehow still full of hope. You’d never guess what he’d been through by looking at him now. Every morning, Oatie wakes up like the world is brand new. He greets the day with zoomies, wiggles, and that contagious, tail‑wagging joy that makes you smile before you even realize it. Oatie is a people‑pleaser through and through. He loves making his humans happy, and he’ll try his absolute best at anything you ask of him — whether that’s learning a new trick, settling down for rest, or simply flashing that big, goofy grin of his. Right now, he’s recovering from knee surgery. Anyone hoping to bring him home will need to give him a small, quiet space where he can rest safely away from other animals and people, not because he’s naughty, but because his heart is bigger than his healing knee can handle. He does wonderfully with other dogs who can match his playful, fast‑paced style, and once he’s fully recovered, he’d love a home with kids 12+ who can run, play, and keep up with his zest for life.
