About

Hey there friends, my name is Tank Top and I'm such a good boy! I'm a 3 year old, 65lbs., neutered male Bulldog/Staffordshire Terrier mix. I'm a real cool fellow that knows how to relax but also knows when to party(play). I adore hanging out with my favorite human friends and literally jump for joy when I see them! My favorite game in the world chasing the giant jolly ball but once I'm tuckered out, all I want to do is cuddle up in bed with a chew toy. I may look like a big muscular guy but I have a sensitive side. I can get overwhelmed in loud settings so a quiet but active home would be best for me. I would love to meet the whole family including any resident dogs before going home, as I can be a bit rough and tumble when I play. I may be on the bigger side but if you let me, I'll climb right into your lap for some cuddles. Staff love having me in their offices because I'm a well behaved boy who just wants someone to hang out with. Tank Top ID#A0973019 I recently went on a fieldtrip with a PHS Volunteer! Here's how I did: I took Tanky out for a hike. He’s such a sweetheart. He was very excited to head out, I could tell from his face that he knew we were going out for an adventure. That sweet smile! He is a total lap dog, and would not prefer it any other way. He sat in my lap as I drove (safely). He’s quite affectionate, and always wants to be close to you. At the hike, he was super happy trotting with me as he sniffed along the way. He wasn't bothered by the other hikers or bikers around him. He seemed interested in wanting to say hi to dogs, but is also not fixated. Tanky is always great on leash. He was very sweet and gentle. Turns out, the boy likes water! He enjoyed dipping his feet by the beach. In the end, he and I sat looking at the sunset while he enjoyed the atmosphere. He’s the perfect mix of laid back and adventurous.
