Barn Cat looking for barn cat friends: Karsey is a quiet and friendly girl, about 1 year old. Updated 5/14/2026: Karsey, aka KitKat, is a sweet, playful young lady looking for a barn with other young playful cats to make her home. I have tried to socialize with her over the last 5+ months, but she is not a big fan of people. She will walk into the same room as me, play, eat and even sleep on a chair in my bedroom when I'm sleeping, but she will scatter off when I try to approach her. When cornered and touched to get into a carrier for a vet visit, I was able to get her in by cornering her in a cubby hole in the cat tree and guiding her right into the carrier that I held right at the opening. She just tensed up, didn't like it, but she has never hissed, growled, bit or swatted at me. She is great at playing on her own and would like a playmate.
