Bessie would thrive in a barn, warehouse, shop, or large rural property where she can patrol her territory, hunt, and live life on her own terms. She needs a sturdy shelter (like a heated or well-insulated barn cat house, shed, or enclosed space) to get in and out of the elements year-round, especially during cold winter months. She’s comfortable with other cats as long as everyone is spayed/neutered and there’s plenty of space for each to have their own domain—no crowding or drama.
