Say Hello to Betta Fish! Betta is a sweet and gentle girl who may be slow to warm up, but with patience, she will learn to trust and bond with her people. She has a sweet, silly side that blossoms when she gets comfortable. She originally came from a hoarding situation, so she’ll do best in a calm, loving home with someone experienced. Betta is potty trained and can also use pee pads. She requires a fenced-in yard and would do best in a home with another dog for companionship. Due to her trust issues, Betta is not a good fit for a home with young children. With time, love, and consistency, Betta will blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion for the right family. Due to our participation in the Vernon Hills 4th of July Parade , there will be no adoption event on Saturday, July 4, 2026.
