Nice to meet you, we're Lavender & Jeffrey ! We're a bonded pair of pigeons looking for our forever home! We're a sweet duo who would do well in a first-time bird home, or to join a pre-existing flock. Together, we love to preen each other, take baths, and take turns sitting in our nest! Our ideal home would be a protected outdoor aviary, or an indoor flight cage at least 4x4 feet. Jeffrey is a roughly 2-year-old, medium-sized, "blue"/gray, adult male racing/homing pigeon. My racing days are behind me, and now I'm ready to rest and have a relaxing retirement with my girl, Lavender! Lavender is a large-sized, white, adult female King pigeon. She's a little more hesitant around people, but is the sweetest partner and a beautiful gal! Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010. You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available . It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around! Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
