We call her Janice the Manice. This friendly young cat has been committing crimes since she was a small kitten who broke into someone’s house for shelter and surprise snuggles. We didn’t have any place to put a kitten her age, so she ended up in a crate in the shelter office to make sure she got enough monitoring for a wound on her neck. This was either a great decision or a poor decision on our parts since she immediately set out to befriend our antisocial office cat who only liked humans and dogs. Well, little Janice eventually wore Feisty down, leading Feisty to suddenly be willing to leave the office and semi-tolerate other cats, but Janice is now also a terrible office cat. She hides in the drawers of filing cabinets and desks, chews on plants, steps on the printer controls, plays with the shoes of unsuspecting humans, walks on the computer keyboard to make undesirable changes to spreadsheets, and uses the edges of hanging files as scratchers. All of that aside, Janice is a great little cat who would no doubt cause different problems in a home with more space and attention! Please take her away! Janice was born late May of 2025. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations.
