Hatch Date - approx 2000 Bailey is a 26 y/o Senegal. He is believed to be male. He spent his life with his partner, Lula, who sadly passed away in May 2026. Bailey prefers his foster mom's brother, and he also loves pets and spending time outside of his cage. Bailey does not fly much, but prefers to walk and climb around their cage and the house. He loves dried fruits as a treat and will eat pretty much anything, so be careful with your leftovers! Bailey is very loving towards their chosen person, but can be a bit nippy around anyone he deems competition. For this reason, he would be best suited for a house without young children who may not understand his needs and social cues. Senegals can also be very loud when they want your attention, so he may not work for apartment dwellers. Bailey has been disease tested for PBFD and Chlamydia. Bailey is being fostered in Bloomfield, NJ. He will only be adopted into a forever home within driving distance. We will NOT ship our birds. For the Love of Birds is a group of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA. We do not have a central location. Bailey is living in a volunteer's private home. We only allow approved applicants to make visits. If interested in adopting Bailey, please visit our website ftlob.rescuegroups.org Please read our adoption policies & procedures, and complete an adoption application.
