Tank is extremely communicative. If he wants attention, you’ll know. If he thinks you’ve forgotten him, you’ll definitely know. The best part? He actually responds when you talk back. It’s like living with a tiny, furry roommate who has opinions and isn’t afraid to share them. His nickname started as short for Tanqueray… until he decided to live up to it. He’s still working on understanding that he’s not lap-cat sized anymore, but that doesn’t stop him from trying. Tank needs a feline friend. He’s a wrestler at heart and loves a good play session. Solo-cat life is not for him — he gets lonely and loud. Small, friendly dogs are A-OK in his book. He’s sweet and loving with little ones, just a bit unaware of his tank-like proportions. Best with kids who can handle an enthusiastic 16-lb snuggle. His tummy can be a little sensitive. He does best on a consistent diet and may need slow transitions if his food changes. Once he’s settled, he’s good to go — just no surprise menu swaps! Under all that chatter and wrestling is a total lovebug. He’s goofy, affectionate, and will absolutely insert himself into whatever you’re doing. Work from home? He’s your new supervisor. Watching TV? He’s your weighted blanket. If you’re looking for a cat with main-character energy who will talk to you, wrestle with your other cat, and love you loudly, Tank is your guy. Please note: Tank has been living with the same foster since kittenhood. He will need a patient adopter who is willing to allow him to adjust slowly and gradually and who will understand that all of his amazing personality will need time and trust to fully show. Once Tank is confident in his environment he will be a devoted and loving companion. He is up to date on vaccines including rabies, tested negative for FELV/FIV, dewormed, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $350.
