Working dog, seeks active, pack leader Hi I’m Dottie and URGENTLY need a new place to live! I'm a 2-year-old, 60 lb herding dog, which means I feel big, love big, and need a life with structure, space, and someone who understands active, intelligent dogs like me. Right now, I’m not getting enough room or exercise to just be a dog. When I finally get let out, I start off a little frantic—but give me a bit of time to run it out, and I settle into my real self: affectionate, loyal, and deeply attached to my person. I can be shy when we first meet, but once I trust you, I’m all in. I know my basics (sit, stay, down, heel), and I actually feel better when I have a confident leader to give guidance—it helps me feel safe. A few honest things about me: I’m mouthy when I play (herding-dog style, not bitey) I need space, activity, and engagement I’m selective with dogs and prefer calmer companions or being your only dog Small kids can be overwhelming for me No cats, I have a prey drive What I want is simple: a steady home, patience, and a chance to finally relax and bond with my person.
