Say hello to Niki! Niki has now been in rescue for one year and we desperately want her to find a home of her very own. If you're on the fence about adopting, please consider asking about Niki, she could be the perfect pet for you! Niki is a sweet girl with so much heart and love to give. She was found wet and muddy in a trash dump, but even that couldn't dampen her spirit or hide her amazing personality. Given the chance, Niki would start every day snuggled up with her person. After breakfast, she's happy to see where the day takes her. Maybe go for a walk? Or play with some toys? Perhaps just hang out for the day...Niki is flexible and happy to go wherever the flow takes you! Niki enjoys playing with other dogs, chase and wrestling are her favorite games to play. She has had one failed adoption because she was not able to get along with another dog. She has gotten along with all of the dogs in her foster home, so she appears to be dog selective. She would be good as an only dog, or may fit with the right group of dogs in a home. Niki will happily attempt to play fetch with her people, but is sometimes unclear on the exact rules of how to bring things back. She is great in the house, crate trained, walks nicely on leash and knows basic obedience. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
