My mom was elderly and ill. It had become too difficult for her to care for all of us properly. When mom went to the hospital, mom's human daughter called Mickaboo for help. My mom passed away the next day. <br> <br> My name is Bull and I'm a yellow-naped amazon estimated to be about 20 years old. I was flying around the house when volunteers arrived to make an initial assessment of our situation. I was allowed to go in and out of my cage whenever I wanted. I lived in the same house my whole life. My mom owned my bird parents, Ladybird and my bird dad (my bird dad passed away about 10 years ago). When I was put in a carrier by Mickaboo volunteers, I was curious and went to the front of my carrier to watch the new people. My mom's greatest wish was that I find a home where I was well-cared for. Could that be with you? Stay tuned to hear more about me! <br> <br> April 2026: I stepped-up on my foster mom's hand right away and like to ride around on her shoulder. I haven't bit her. I'd love a home where I can be out of my cage flying around a lot. I fly right over to mom's shoulder. I've been pretty quiet so far, but I do talk a little.
