Meet Pierre, the three-year-old white and grey Domestic Shorthair who carries himself with such quiet dignity and sweetness that his family named him after a French gentleman. He also has a naturally heart-shaped spot in his fur. Pierre loves his cat tree, his window seat, and the very important daily work of monitoring the bird and squirrel activity outside with great focus and the most adorable chirping meows you have ever heard. He loves being brushed, enjoys interactive toys, and is more than capable of entertaining himself when his people are busy. He is also an enthusiastic and committed eater, and a great bug chaser. Pierre is good with other cats and has lived comfortably with both cats and dogs in previous homes. He has been going through a bit of a transitional period lately as his family prepares to move due to health reasons, and like any dignified soul he has found the disruption mildly unsettling. He is sensitive to loud noises and sudden changes, and will do best once he is settled into a calm and stable environment where he can relax and return to his naturally serene self. Pierre would thrive in a quiet home where he can be appreciated for the refined and sweet-natured companion he truly is. A calm adult household or a home with one gentle and easygoing cat friend would suit him beautifully. To learn more about Pierre, text AARF at 931-260-8018 or visit www.aarf-tn.com today! All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
