ROCKET HAS BEEN WAITING SINCE 2023 And honestly? We don't understand it either. Rocket is the kind of dog who should already be curled up on someone's couch, supervising backyard activities, and making sure everyone knows exactly what's happening in the neighborhood. Instead, he's still waiting for his forever family. Born in October 2015, Rocket spent years in a loving home before finding himself in rescue in 2023. Since then, he's been patiently waiting for someone to see what we've always seen—a dog with a huge personality, a playful spirit, and plenty of love left to give. This handsome Jack Russell loves being part of the action. Whether it's a game in the backyard, a walk around the neighborhood, or simply keeping an eye on things from the comfort of the couch, Rocket wants to be involved. He's well-mannered, sleeps through the night, enjoys a good nap, and has a few lovable quirks of his own. Like many of us, he's not much of a morning person and appreciates a little time to wake up before greeting the day. Rocket's seasonal allergies are easily managed, and what he really needs isn't another year in rescue. He needs a home. A family. A second chance. In 2023, Rocket was surrendered to our care , and he’s been patiently waiting for his next chapter and a forever home ever since. He has so much love left to give and is ready to start fresh with a family of his own. He’s a well-mannered guy who sleeps through the night in his own cozy space and enjoys the occasional couch nap. Rocket has mild seasonal allergies that are easily managed with a simple vet shot twice a year, and he does best with regular nail trims to keep him comfortable and active. Like many of us, Rocket can be a little grumpy right after waking up—just give him a minute and some space, and he’s back to his sweet, playful self.
