Izzy came to us as a tiny kitten, was adopted, and then returned when her owner was no longer able to keep her. She has always been a very intense, spicy cat with a big personality and no interest in being an easygoing girl. She plays rough, reacts quickly, and gets overstimulated fast. If you pet her and then move your hand away, she’ll grab it and try to pull it back to her. In the process she often scratches, but we honestly don’t think she means to — she just isn’t gentle about anything she does. She cannot live with other cats. She gets upset the moment one comes near her, and being around them makes her miserable. With people she doesn’t know well, she can be loud, demanding, and pretty temperamental. But with the kids from her original family, she’s still wonderful — relaxed, affectionate, and completely herself. She’s a cat who bonds deeply with “her” people and struggles with everyone else. Izzy has always been a different type of cat: dramatic, opinionated, loyal, and very set in her ways. She needs a one‑cat home with someone who understands her intensity and appreciates a spicy companion who loves hard but selectively. She isn’t a social butterfly; she’s a one‑family cat looking for the right person to claim as her own again. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for FIV/ FeLV.
