Kate was found as a semi‑feral stray, and she’s made steady, genuine progress since coming into care. She’s still a cautious girl, but if you move slowly and don’t startle her, she now enjoys gentle pets and will relax once she knows you’re safe. She can still be skittish at times, yet once she trusts you, she truly appreciates affection. Kate will do best in a calm home with someone who understands shy cats and is willing to give her the time she needs to keep building confidence.
