Granite came in with his brother Slate from a very sick litter and needed a lot of medication when he was younger. Because of that rough start, he’s a cat who keeps his circle small. Granite is not very affectionate with most people. With someone he trusts, he may be different, but he’s not the type to warm up quickly. He’s a quiet, well‑behaved cat who gets along well with the other cats here. He also tends to over‑groom, likely from stress, so a calm home and predictable routine would be best for him. Granite isn’t looking for a busy household or someone expecting an instant lap cat. He’s looking for someone patient who’s okay with a more independent companion.
