Meet Benji, a handsome guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart once you get to know him. Like many cats, Benji can be a little cautious when faced with new people or unfamiliar surroundings. He may need some time to settle in, but with patience, understanding, and a little space to adjust, his playful and charming side really starts to shine. Benji is looking for a confident, cat-savvy adopter who understands and appreciates that the best relationships are built on trust. He'll do best in an adult-only home where his boundaries are respected and he can settle in at his own pace. Once he feels safe and comfortable, Benji is sure to become a loyal companion. When it comes to winning Benji over, playtime is the perfect place to start! He absolutely loves catnip, so having a few catnip toys on hand is a great way to make a new friend. After a fun play session, he's just as happy curling up in a cozy bed for a well-earned nap. Of course you can also win this sweet boy over with a little tasty cat treat, he's a sucker for good food after all! Benji has not been introduced to other cats while in our care, so his compatibility with feline friends is unknown. However, we were told that he previously lived successfully with a dog. Benji's adoption fee is $85 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations, and an FIV/FeLV test. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor only pets and that adopters have a history of having kept their pets altered, indoors, and current on vaccinations and preventative care.
